Boilerplate
AgentsUse is a Canadian startup, founded in 2026, that builds tools for AI agents: APIs, MCP servers, and SDKs that give a model a defined way to search, read, compute, and act. Its public, source-checked catalog maps the agent tool layer, and its Harness pillar publishes the runtime patterns that keep tool calls bounded, inspectable, and reversible where they need to be.
Company facts
What the company ships
The public catalog is live today: tool profiles, MCP server pages, framework profiles and a framework comparison, curated stacks, and guides, each carrying setup, limits, and sources. The Harness pillar publishes the patterns for validating, bounding, and recording tool calls.
The Pro direction is the data layer behind the map. The workspace is live in the browser with saved stacks and a watchlist, and the Catalog API is in early access through the pricing page. The hosted API and change alerts are described as early access until they ship.
How AI fits the company
Claude enrichment is built into the catalog ingestion pipeline. It classifies candidate records and drafts verification notes and comparison points for the human review queue. It produces drafts only, never publishes, and runs only when deliberately enabled with API credits; the feature flag stays off until then. Every published fact still passes human review against primary sources.
That pipeline is the company's operating model, not just a tooling detail. AgentsUse is built and operated with AI agents working under the same harness discipline the site publishes: agents research, classify, and draft; deterministic schema checks validate the drafts; human review decides what ships. It is how a small Canadian company maintains a source-checked catalog at this breadth. The product direction sells the same discipline to other builders: tools, APIs, and harness patterns for teams whose agents do the operating.
