Editorial Policy

How AgentsUse content is written, checked, and corrected.

What this policy covers

AgentsUse publishes two kinds of content: source-verified tool profiles in the tools directory and plain-language guides on working with AI agents. This page covers the written guides and the editorial choices behind both. How individual tool facts are verified is documented on the methodology page.

How guides are written

Guides start from a job a reader is trying to get done, then explain what an agent can handle, where it fails, and where a person needs to stay in charge. Claims about specific tools trace to primary sources: official documentation, repositories, package registries, and pricing pages. AgentsUse does not invent statistics, benchmarks, ratings, or user counts. Where a number appears, it comes from a checked source or a labeled estimate, and opinion is written as opinion.

Worked examples that are invented for illustration are labeled as hypothetical, including the people in them. A hypothetical shows how a workflow would run; it is never presented as a real result or a testimonial.

Reviews, updates, and corrections

Tool profiles carry a last-checked date and are re-checked against their sources when facts change. Guides are reviewed when the tools or practices they describe materially change, and dated pages keep their original publication date visible. If you find an error or a stale fact, send a correction with a source link through the contact page. A verified correction updates the page and its checked date. What AgentsUse is, and who the site is for, is on the about page.

Sponsorship and advertising

AgentsUse is supported by advertising. Editorial listings are never sold: no vendor can pay to be included, to be ranked higher, or to soften a limitation. Sponsored placement, if offered, will be labeled Sponsored and rendered separately from editorial results, and it will never change an inclusion decision, an order, or a conclusion.

Limits of the content

Guides and profiles are educational. Content about money, investing, or legal decisions, where it appears, is general information only and is not financial, legal, or professional advice. Tool facts can go stale between checks, so confirm setup, pricing, and terms with the vendor before you rely on them. The disclaimer explains how to read profiles and metrics, and the terms of use cover the site rules.
