Changelog

What shipped at AgentsUse

Product and site milestones, newest first, grouped by month. An entry carries an exact day where a dated site record fixes it and month precision where it does not. Every entry describes work that is live on the site.

Operating model documented

  • The About page, press boilerplate, and roadmap now describe how the company itself is run: AI agents research, classify, and draft inside the ingestion pipeline.
  • Deterministic schema checks validate every draft, and human review gates each publish. No agent output reaches a public page on its own.
  • The same harness discipline is the product direction: tools, APIs, and patterns for builders whose agents do the operating.

Design polish pass

  • Body text contrast raised across the site so secondary copy meets WCAG AA on the warm paper surfaces.
  • Login, contact, and workspace forms moved to one field and button system; the workspace empty states were redesigned instead of left blank.
  • Mobile menu, command palette, catalog rows, and table overflow were hardened for 360px screens. No URL changed.

Roadmap and developer notes published

  • The roadmap separates what is live, what is in early access, and what is later direction, with no dates or ship promises attached.
  • Developer notes describe the planned Catalog API: verified records, check dates, and change records, with an example record shape labeled as a preview.
  • Endpoint paths are labeled planned, not callable. Early access requests route through the contact page.

Company pages added

  • Careers, press, security, and this changelog joined the site, and the footer gained a Company section linking them.
  • The careers page states plainly that there are no open roles today and lists future interest areas only.
  • The security page documents the publication gate, draft-only AI enrichment, and browser-local workspace data.

Pro workspace and pricing launched

  • The browser workspace opened with saved stacks, a watchlist, and JSON and CSV export, stored on the visitor’s own device.
  • The pricing page keeps the public catalog free and places the Catalog API in early access. No price has been set.
  • Change alerts and account-synced stacks are labeled early access until they ship.

Claude enrichment added to ingestion

  • A Claude enrichment module joined the ingestion pipeline: it classifies candidate records and drafts verification notes and comparison points.
  • Its output is schema-checked and lands in the human review queue only. It never edits a public record and never publishes.
  • The module is feature-flagged off by default and runs only when deliberately enabled with API credits.

Repositioning and company facts published

  • The site was repositioned around the company: AgentsUse builds tools for AI agents, and the catalog is framed as the public market map and distribution layer.
  • The About page gained a company facts panel: AgentsUse, founded 2026, based in Canada, with contact and early access through the contact page.
  • Navigation and footer wording moved from directory language to market map language; every existing URL stayed put.

Harness pillar expanded

  • The pillar grew to a hub and nine pattern pages, each drawn from official documentation and production writing fetched on October 8, 2026.
  • Three long-form guides were published the same day, including a production checklist of 24 checks.
  • A framework comparison now scores twelve runtimes on permissions, approvals, recovery, and observability. Cells the official docs do not answer stay blank.

Market map expansion shipped

  • MCP server profiles joined the catalog with transports, placeholder configurations, exposed tools, and security scope notes.
  • Curated stacks and framework profiles were added alongside the tool profiles.
  • Comparison and integration pages stay gated until both sides pass the verification threshold.

Catalog foundation launched

  • The tool profile template shipped: purpose, verified capabilities, quick-start configuration with placeholders, dated maintenance metrics, and sourced relationships.
  • Every record moves through candidate, draft, and verified states before it can publish; unknown fields stay empty.
  • Category archives and structured data shipped with the first profiles.

First operating guides published

  • “10 Tasks AI Agents Handle Well (and 5 to Keep in Your Hands)” and “A Checklist Before Letting an AI Agent Touch Real Work” are dated September 26, 2026.
  • “Comparing AI Agent Frameworks” and “Agent Security Risks You Must Handle” followed on September 29, 2026.
  • The guides cover the judgment around the tooling: delegation, permissions, security, and when not to use an agent at all.

The log opens with the first guides in September 2026 and runs through the catalog launch and everything since. Company background is on the About page, and the roadmap separates what is live from what is still direction. Corrections to any entry can be sent through the contact page.
